The day reached its peak during the final hours of the summer sun. We walked the farm’s perimeter for the couple’s portraits, utilising the soft, directional light that defines a midsummer evening in Everdon.
Captured with a light, airy aesthetic, these frames represent the quiet heart of the wedding: the couple finding a moment of stillness before returning to the barn for the cake-cutting and the energy of the first dance.
The day began with a classic ceremony at Greens Norton Church, a quiet, sacred start that quickly transitioned into a high-energy confetti exit under the summer sun. From the church, the celebration moved across the Northamptonshire countryside to the rustic elegance of Wood Farm at Everdon.
This was a day defined by a seamless flow: a bright, airy drinks reception in the garden, where the documentary lens captured the effortless interaction of guests against the rolling backdrop of the farm.
As the afternoon shifted, the narrative moved upstairs into the warmth of the barn for the wedding breakfast. The elevated space provided a unique vantage point to capture the wit and emotion of the toasts before the celebration spilt back out into the late afternoon light.
These "Stills from the Day" highlight the transition from the structured ceremony to a much more relaxed, unscripted evening spent in the company of a close-knit inner circle.
