The Great Barn at Aynho provided a texture-rich backdrop for a celebration defined by midsummer warmth and an unapologetic saturation of colour. The day began with a quiet, shared energy. The bride and her closest friends were preparing within the barn’s historic stone walls while guests gathered early for pre-ceremony drinks in the sun. This was documentary photography at its most vibrant, capturing the punchy, bright florals against the golden limestone and the high-spirited confetti exit overlooking the Oxfordshire countryside.
As the afternoon of wit and laughter from the speeches gave way to a softer pace, the evening arrived with a rare, cinematic clarity. We used the final hours of the day to capture the couple within some glorious light, a perfectly backlit summer evening. These stills represent the relaxed, unscripted heart of the wedding, a couple moving through the rural landscape, bathed in a low sun that perfectly complemented the honest, high-energy spirit of their celebration.
